TLDR: Despite surpassing over 1.5 billion visits in March, ChatGPT's rapid expansion has stalled, with a 10% fall in traffic from May to June 2023. Over the same time period, there was a 3.1% rise in visits to OpenAI's developer site. The May introduction of plugins and online surfing features did not result in a rise in growth. This pause provides an opportunity to plan for future events.

TLDR: At EUROBIKE 2023, Urtopia unveiled their Fusion e-bike, the first to have ChatGPT and built-in speakers, functioning as an AI personal tour guide. The bike may provide information on tourist attractions and historical places, however it cannot provide real-time updates due to ChatGPT's data limit through 2021. GPS navigation, anti-theft measures, and safety and data record systems are among the other features. It is intended to provide real-time support and serve as a local guide, so redefining the biking experience.

TLDR: YouTube is globally testing AI-generated quizzes on its iOS and Android mobile apps for select educational videos, with the goal of improving learning and understanding content effectiveness, specifically targeting users engaged with educational videos. TLDR: Anthropic's Claude 2, a ChatGPT competitor, has made its second-generation AI chatbot available for public testing in the United States and the United Kingdom. Claude 2 can summarize up to 75,000 words (compared to ChatGPT's 3,000), has a more recent knowledge threshold, and surpasses GPT-4 on some assessments. It can also summarize whole PDF files and is far less expensive for developers. This competition benefits customers by accelerating AI developments.

TLDR: beehiiv, a newsletter creator platform, has introduced new AI features. These include an AI Writing Assistant, AI Text Tools, AI Image Tools, and an AI Translator. The Writing Assistant helps users create content based on their desired output. The Text Tools allow users to change tone, auto-correct, auto-complete, lengthen, shorten, simplify, and more. The Image Tools generate images within the beehiiv editor. Ah, and there's also a translator

TLDR: Shopify CEO Tobi Lütke has unveiled Shopify's AI vision and new commerce-specific AI digital assistant, Sidekick. It understands and interprets questions, allowing users to generate ideas quickly. But, no, no official release date announced.

TLDR: Wix has launched a conversational AI website generator that allows users to create complete websites by typing a description and answering a few questions. The generator uses OpenAI's ChatGPT for text creation and Wix's AI models for other aspects. Additional features include an AI Assistant Tool, AI Page and Section Creator, and Object Eraser.

AILG one-liner: Even though Wix smells like 2005 (and you're probably better served looking at framer's AI), you might get something out of it if, who knows.

TLDR: Stability AI, the startup behind Stable Diffusion, has launched 'Stable Doodle,' a tool that converts sketches into images. It uses sketches and prompts to guide image generation, with output quality depending on the initial drawing and prompt detail.

TLDR: Runway has given Gen-2 an update that significantly improves the quality of the results. Gen-2 can generate short video clips from text descriptions, recently added a preview function, and has been available in the browser and smartphone app for iOS since June.
