Hope, Fear, and AI - 2,000 people survey analysis summary

Directly from theverge's survey

Here's the source from where we will be drinking today:

Which AI services are more famous?

Funny how people from this sample heard more about MY AI than Midjourney. I think that's a clear sampling bias, as Snapchat is extremely local and Midjourney is way more global. Regardless, what do you think?

Who's using AI?

Millennials all the way, baby. Funny, cause I'm a millenial ('92 baby here, yo!). This one makes way more sense, though. Again, what do you think?

How is AI being used?

Ranked, to make it easier:

  1. Answer a question (68%)

  2. Brainstorming (54%)

  3. Photos (37%)

My particular rank would be more or less like this as well, except much more on the Coding side, and much less on the “Answer a question” side. What about you?

AI made my work ____

I assume the gap here in not reaching 100% means that the gray area is “more or less the same thing”. TBH, for me, it made my work way better in Artwork, Coding, Music and Lyrics, whilst with everything else it was more or less the same.

And, one more time, what about you?

Surprise: the first 03 to reply to this edition with answers to all “what about you” throughout the text, will get 100% off codes for any of my Udemy courses. So, yeah, kinda of a good reward for simple replies, huh 🙂

And, btw, the survey goes waaay beyond what I highlighted here. Take a look, you might find some things more interesting than what I highlighted.
